She is a graphic designer, since 1999 owning Art Squad Graphics, a graphic arts studio specializing in book design.

Sara also owns LoveThatImage.com, a photography website (photoblog at lovethatimage.com/blog). She is active in the national Graphic Artists Guild and currently serves as president of the Seattle Chapter. Like Monet, she gardens to have good photo subjects.

Sara now gardens and photographs in Seattle, Washington.
