Riassunto: Giddy isn't like other mountain goats who relish picnics high atop The Needle, the highest mountain around. Stand Giddy on a mountain ledge and his head starts spinning, his face turns white, and his knees turn to jelly. When Giddy runs away to join the sheep on the valley floor, he finds his place is still with the goats, but now he has to find a way to overcome his fear of heights. Luckily, his new friends, Edmund, a lamb who wants to be a rock climber, helps out.
Humorous illustrations bring to life this light-hearted and charming story. The theme of overcoming a fear by helping a friend supports character education.

L'autore: Jamie Rix won the 1990 'Children's Choice' Smarties Award with his Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, which ITV have televised to great acclaim and which has won numerous awards for Best Children's Series. In addition to writing children's books, Jamie's career has been in the theatre and television. He lives in London. Lynne Chapman has illustrated a number picture books and loves to do children's workshops and storytelling sessions. In her freetime, she is a performance poet in a group called The Electric Tomatoes and she also plays boogie-woogie piano. Lynne lives in Sheffield.
