Public libraries nationwide are purchasing it in ever increasing quantities. It has been used as a textbook for 3 universities. Newspaper reviews have been very good. With amazon.com it has ranked as low as 2725. Peer reviews have been excellent, some of which are included in the book. Numerous book buyers have availed themselves of the FREE consulting offer, and have called with questions. Having answered their questions, they volunteered acclaim for the book and some wrote positive reviews. The book was put together with sequential and systematic formulae for absolutely necessary guidelines, check lists and forms, not in a 'slapdash' manner as one critical reviewer suggests. This is a wo! rkbook/manual for the "everyman", not full of prose or case studies which may or may not apply across the board to all projects. Few specific contracts are provided (usually only provisions or paragraphs) to avoid potential legal complications. The book did originate from a series of lectures and seminars, and the expanded publication came from the encouragement of students and faculty. I ackonowledge that negative reviews go with the territory, even John Grisham receives them. However, I am at a loss as to the foundation for the critics and what they expected from "Go/No Go." Perhaps they were looking to make a fast buck or two in the development/construction/renovation business. This is not possible. The work is fraught with much "grunt work" and tedious time and effort in filling out forms, nailing down contracts, checking guidelines, etc. The book attempts to reduce those burdens. Thank you.
