L'autore: Dr. James A. Johnson is a professor of health administration and policy and associate professor of family medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is also the founding director of the executive doctoral program in health leadership and previously served for six years as chairman of the Department of Health Administration and Policy. Dr. Johnson has published numerous articles and seven books in the area of healthcare organization and management. He is currently the editor of the Journal of Healthcare Management which is published by the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Johnson also serves as a consultant to healthcare organizations and networks where he provides assistance with strategic planning, board development, and organizational improvement. He has lectured throughout the United States as well as Oxford University in England and University of Dublin in Ireland. Dr. Johnson earned his Ph.D. from Florida State University where he specialized in organizational behavior and development.
