This Book is in Good Condition. Clean Copy With Light Amount of Wear. 100% Guaranteed. Summary: Rosa Lee Pack never really thought of herself as any different from anyone else. She grew up in a loving family, had a raucous childhood, and fell in love and married her lifetime sweetheart. She never planned to have anyone call her "Mayor"--and she never expected her home (even when her granddaughter's $50,000 play house in the front yard) to be the epicenter of what some would call "Nut Valley." But sometimes you simply grow into your name. And that's exactly what Rosa Lee has done. Surrounded by a cast of characters which includes an Official Millionaire, a City Clerk, some Five-Minute Neighbors, a Dairy Queen Kid, and a husband who has encouraged her to build more homes than most city planners, this Mayor is right at home. And you will be, too, when you meet all of them in the pages of her book. Filled with stories that will make you laugh and nod your head as you recognize your own eccentric friends and relatives, "Mayor of Nut Valley" will keep you wondering what the Mayor and her cohorts will be up to next and wishing that you could move in--if not next door, then at least just down the block (a safe distance away)!. Riassunto: Rosa Lee Pack never planned to have anyone call her ''Mayor'' - and she never expected her home (even with her granddaughter's $50,000 play house in the front yard, which is featured on the cover) to be the epicenter of what some would call ''Nut Valley.'' Surrounded by a cast of characters which include an Official Millionaire, a City Clerk, some Five-Minute Neighbors, a Dairy Queen Kid, and a husband who has encouraged her to build more homes than most city planners, this Mayor is right at home. You'll be introduced to them one-by-one, as they take you on cross-country motorcycle rides, to a fast-food restaurant in a limo, and along the yellow brick road on a freight train.

Along the way, you might just learn a lesson or two about life, love, and all of the chaos that comes with both of them.... assuming the van doesn't catch on fire again. Filled with stories that will make you laugh and nod your head as you recognize your own eccentric friends and relatives, Mayor of Nut Valley: Managing Life's Nonsense will keep you wondering what the Mayor and her cohorts will be up to next. And wishing you could move in, if not next door, then at least just down the block a safe distance away.

L'autore: Rosa Lee Scalf Pack was born on August 7, 1949, and grew up in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, in a family which was both fun-loving and daring. Encouraged by her mother at an early age to be true to herself, she was taught to always be kind to people while climbing the ladder of life because you may meet the same people on your way back down. At the age of eighteen she fell in love and married her lifetime sweetheart Mike Pack. Forty-four years later, they are still together. Currently they reside in Hagerhill, Kentucky. Ms. Pack has found that every time she recounts her laughable, incredible adventures, people say to her, ''You need to write a book.'' So, for all of them, here it is!
