Riassunto: There was a look of astonishment on her face as she read the slip of paper in her hand. It was Christmas Morning, 2012. My wife, Vicki had just opened her gift from me; an envelope containing a message, which read: Your Christmas present will consist of a trip to India, to occur sometime in 2013. Why India? Why not India? From what I?d heard and read, India was a big place and full of wonders. I expected to find India exotic and beautiful. It turned out to be all of that, and more. Vicki was not so sure. She had been hoping we could go someplace a little more mainstream, such as Italy. My thinking, however, was to go to the far-flung places now while we were still relatively young and in good health. There was plenty of time to go to Italy when we were older and had to be pushed around in wheelchairs. * * * In Search of the Perfect Masala recounts the tale of an epic Voyage of Discovery ? an Adventure of the Highest Order and of the First Magnitude. Deciding to skip the other more common travel destinations, they stepped aboard a plane and find themselves in a strange new world. The story is written with a pervasive and underlying wit, tongue-in-cheek humor, and drama that?s either real or imagined. The Search for the Perfect Masala takes Andy and Vicki to 5 exotic destinations within India, as well as side excursions to Nepal and Sri Lanka. Filled with hilarious moments, this book will take you along to places you?ve only dreamed about. You?ll feel like you are right along there with them. In Search of the Perfect Masala is light and delightful. It is also hilarious and entertaining. It?s the perfect escape! It is meant to be read from the rocking chair on your porch Saturday morning with a cup of coffee in your hand, in your hammock after mowing the yard, in the Miami airport waiting to catch your flight to your own exotic vacation, or from your reclining lounge chair on the beach at Montserrat (or Galveston, or a beach anywhere). Would you like to read a book that will make you laugh out loud? Do you need something to read to remove stress? Do you love reading about travel to far-away ports of call? If you answered ?Yes? to any of these questions, this book may be for you!
