Riassunto: In My Siser's Shoes is a collection of anecdotal inspirational essays in a style that is similar to Susan Taylor or Iyanla Vanzant. The author draws lessons from everyday situations and shares her personal pain and triumphs with the reader.

The title comes from the idea that many of our life experiences are universal and we have all walked in each other's shoes. The book offers an inspirational and encouraging outlook to life's setbacks and speed bumps. Each essay is accompanied by a relevant scripture verse or song reference which underscores the encouragement.

You will not feel like you are reading a book. Instead you will feel like you are sitting at your kitchen table, enjoying a cup of coffee and talking to a good friend. This is not a book that you read and put away because you will see yourself and many of your friends and family in the various scenarios. It feels personal, as if the author had been spying in the windows of your own life. You will revisit it over and over again and will find yourself quoting the author's grandmother just as she does.

L'autore: Ms. Anderson-Blair was born in London and grew up in Manchester, Jamaica and Westchester County, New York. She is a graduate of State University of New York at Plattsburgh and Villanova University. In My Sister's Shoes is her first solo publication and she is currently working on a novel. She was featured in the New York City edition of Success Guide as one of "Ten to Watch."

She resides in Houston, Texas where she and her husband operate a Caribbean restaurant. Her volunteer activites include mentoring high school students, tutoring grade school students and teaching English as a Second Language.
