Su questo libro:

Riassunto: Yours, Mine, and Ours could happen only in the movies. Wrong! Here is a family who lived the part of this wonderful drama in real life. They began their 31 years of mind-boggling adventures at the age of 41 after Hubby had slid through four other marriages and the author had plowed through one. Crowding their 5 young offspring into a little chapel by the highway near Pella, Iowa, this daring middle-aged couple took their wedding vows to stay together for better or for worse, the worse often outweighing the better. Buying an old step van, they loaded their furniture plus two sets of children and headed for Texas. With a hubby who dared, and a wife who wouldn t leave her porch swing behind, they were labeled Sharecroppers because of their strange moving rig, searching for work and the perfect place to settle down. From a roller coaster ride to a success story, they became a wonderfully bonded Your, Mine, and Ours, after giving birth to child #6 at the age of 44. To learn more about their hilarious adventures, you'll have to read the story.

L'autore: The author was raised in a farming community in Iowa, attending a Dutch college before entering the teaching field. During this time she married and after 17 years and 3 children, she divorced and changed her life to a different way of living, remarrying into a "yours, mine and ours" situation at the age of 41. After 31 fruitful years she decided it was time to write her book at the age of 73.
