May 1969 issue also includes the novelettes "Dragon's Teeth" by M.R. Anver and "Persistence" by Joseph P. Martino as well as short stories by R. Hamblen and Perry A. Chapdelaine. Both issues are in very good condition. Minimal wear to the covers and clean, unmarked interiors with solid bindings. A noticeable crease to the bottom front cover of the May issue.

Binder's stamp of Webb & Hunt, Liverpool, to the verso of the front free end paper. Illustrated with twenty engraved vignettes from designs by J. M. W. Turner. Collated, complete.A beautiful collection of the poetry of the Scottish poet Thomas Campbell (1777-1844), edited with notes by the Reverend W. A. Hill. Campbell was best known for his didactic poem 'Pleasures of Hope', written in traditional heroic couplets. He was also known for his patriotic war songs 'Ye Mariners of England', 'The Soldier's Dream', 'Hohenlinden' and 'Battle of the Baltic'. All of these poems, and many more poetic works including his translations, are included in this anthology. In a full morocco binding. Externally generally smart, though faded to the spine, with insect damage causing small losses to the lower corner of each board. Joints are a little rubbed. Occasional small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot. Very Good. book.
