Libro
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Let me first dispel any thoughts you may have that this book is about some new attire of cordage fiber put out by a chain of casual clothing retailers owned by Gap Inc. This book, limited to 500 numbered copies (of which, this is number 268) forms Volume 11 of the Publications of the Naval History Society, and is actually the late 19th Century recollections of a naval officer at a time of great change in the navy. A printed letter from James Barnes, President of the Society, is laid in. Tan cloth backstrip is a little spotted, blue paper sides minimally soiled, edges and corners worn, slight ding in gilt top edges, but a very good copy, internally clean and tight. JS.
