8vo, pp. [viii], 69, [2] epilogue; disbound. First edition: first performed at Drury Lane in December 1761, with Mrs Pritchard in the title role. The play is based on Euripides's tragedy of the same name. The prologue was by the dissolute poet Robert Lloyd (friend of Churchill, Garrick and Wilkes) and the epilogue by Garrick, who also spoke the prologue (though he did not act in the play); despite the efforts of the players and management, the tragedy only lasted four nights.

[52] pp.; 21 x 24 cm.; sewn bound; black-and-white; edition size unkown; unsigned and unnumbered; offset-printed Two volume exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with two-part show held March 14 ? May 18, 2014 and May 25 ? August 3. "Other Primary Structures revisited the premise of and built upon the Museum's seminal 1966 exhibition Primary Structures: Younger American and British Sculptors, the first American museum exhibition to survey the style now known as Minimalism. Primary Structures introduced the public to such artists as Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Sol LeWitt, Walter De Maria, Robert Morris, and others?figures unknown at the time but soon to become synonymous with a radically new approach to sculpture. Nearly 50 years later, Other Primary Structures revisits this formative moment in art history while also reexamining the period from today's far more global perspective. "Presented in two parts, the first part of the exhibition titled Others 1, examined work created between 1960 and 1967, while Others 2, on view from May 25 ? August 3, presented work created between 1967 and 1970, some of which was directly influenced by the 1966 Primary Structures exhibition at the Jewish Museum." -- publisher's statement. This publication includes a faithful reprint of the original 1966 catalogue published in conjunction with show held April 27 - June 12, 1966. Essay by exhibition's curator Kynaston McShine. 4to, pp. 11; disbound. First and only edition. Delap (1724/5-1812) wrote a number of poems in the 1750s, but he was determined to be a great playwright, and forced his friends to suffer endless questions about how to improve his tragedies. The first of the two poems is actually quite interesting: it is about miners and their work, although he perhaps shows little understanding of what life in a mine is actually like: In these dark caves, where heav'n's paternal hand, Far from the world, their private cradle laid, The toil secure: the storms that strike the land With wild dismay, roll harmless o'er their head. (p. 5) which rather confirms the opinion of Fanny Burney, who said of Delap that he was 'a man of deep learning, but totally ignorant of life and manners'. Quite uncommon: ESTC locates five copies in the UK, and five in the USA.
