Occasional internal spotting; spotting to endpapers and edges of textblock, closed tear to rear panel of dust-jacket, minor toning to jacket spine, jacket a little frayed at head of spine. Very good. Kemal's novel is one of survival of a Turkish population aiming to reach the cotton fields; this is the first in The Wind of the Plains trilogy. Kemal was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature and is considered one of Turkey's most influential writers, he was also part of the Turkish Workers' Party.
