Sein prominentester Schüler war -neben den Prinzen des Königshauses- Giacomo Meyerbeer ".ohne excentrisch auszuschreiten, fehlte es seinen Fantasien und Sonaten weder an innerm Feuer und Schwung, noch an Gedanken" (Ledebur). - Leicht berieben, oben etwas wasserrandig (nicht im Notentext), ansonsten schöner Abzug.

This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs und besonders in den Jahren 1944 und 1945 verließen etwa 10% (ca. 200.000 Personen) der lettischen Bevölkerung Lettland. Infolgedessen gab es im Dritten Reich die höchste Konzentration lettischer Flüchtlinge. Die Gruppe baltischer Flüchtlinge insgesamt unterschied sich von den anderen durch ihren überdurchschnittlich hohen Prozentsatz (ca. 37 %) an Flüchtlingen mit anspruchsvollem Ausbildungshintergrund. Somit hielten sich im Jahr 1946 ca. 174 lettische Schriftsteller und Journalisten in Westdeutschland auf. Mithilfe des Biografismus und des literatursoziologischen Ansatzes wird veranschaulicht, wie die Integrationsbemühungen zwei bedeutender lettischer Exilschriftsteller, Janis Jaunsudrabi s und P teris rmanis, im Exil verliefen, wobei verschiedene Faktoren, wie Persönlichkeit, Charakter und soziales Umfeld eine Rolle spielten. Trotz unterschiedlicher Lebenswege gelang es den beiden Schriftstellern nicht, heimisch zu werden. 346 pp. Deutsch.
