Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. *** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK YOU MUST CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING AT CHECKOUT SO THAT I CAN SEND THIS BOOK AIR MAIL WITH TRACKING AND INSURANCE. IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL, I WILL REFUSE YOUR ORDER AND I WILL NOT TRADE WITH YOU AGAIN. *** This is a UK first edition hardcover, published by Trubner & Co. The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading as Very Good condition for its age, The book has the original blue boards (research indicates the second edition has red boards), a straight spine, with sharp corners and firm spine ends. There is light rubbing to the spine, but overall the book is beautiful and bright despite its age. The page edges are toned, and there is also toning to the end papers but the text block is clean and tight aside from the odd mark, which is minor and does not detract from the book's appeal or affect the text. The book has 255 pages, 5 full page colour illustrations and numerous black and white illustrations. The title page confirms the publication in 1860.
