Bound up from the original 21 parts with an added title and table - sometimes a frontis was also added, but it is lacking here. Each issue with an illustrated first page, a few other illustrations throughout. Obviously inspired by Pickwick (Nicholson also wrote a parody of Dombey and Son a few years later), each issue has a story illustrative of common life in London.
