A brief volume about the life and art of Russian sculptor Peter Klodt, known for his massive bronze sculpture/monuments of horses in many public places throughout St. Petersburg. Even the Bolsheviks, who destroyed all the memorials to Nicholas I across Russia, did not dare to demolish this unique statue." (Wikipedia) A photo of this sculpture is included in the booklet.
