First editions, English language issues. Folios in original cloth with lithographic dust jackets; vols. II-IV with original printed wraparound bands and original plastic protective covers. The first four volumes in the catalogue raisonné detailing the artist's lithographic work from 1930-1972, and the only ones containing original prints. The first two volumes contain eleven original lithographs each; the second two volumes each contain five original lithographs. In addition, the dust jackets for each volume are made from original lithographs for a total of thirty-six. A further two volumes were later added to the catalogue raisonné, but those contained only photographic reproductions. Editions limited as follows: Volume I 5000 numbered copies (207); Volume II 5000 copies (this one unnumbered); Volume III 5000 numbered copies (1651); Volume IV 4000 numbered copies (371). For each volume the original lithographs were printed by Mourlot. [Heavy multi-volume set will require additional shipping charge]. Dust jacket of first volume price-clipped; slight toning and some minor wear to plastic covers, with the jackets themselves in excellent condition, but for a couple of small chips on Vol. III. Without plain cardstock slipcases.
