Condizione: Fair. 1969. No Edition Remarks. 254 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Red dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Slight crinkling to gutters. Binding is loose. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing. Boards have tape marks due to dust jacket taped to boards. Slight crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean. Panels and spine has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Jacket is in removable plastic cover.

Plain text dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. America is losing them all and, further, the public is being lied to about them." -- from front fold over panel blurb. Softening of the back strip edges with a little bumping of the book corners. Some stains  ? Moisture  to the top edge of both the rear and front panels. Age toning of the text block edges and pages with scattered foxing to the top text edge. Minor insect damage to the top right hand corner of the free front endpaper. Chipping to the top right hand corner of the front panel. Small tears to either side of the top edge of the back strip with creasing and rubbing of the dustwrapper edges. Rubbing of the panels and particularly the front spine gutter edge. There is a care to the top edge of the back strip along with some fading  please see photograph. Staining and a little foxing to the verso  the colour of the underlying board has led to the verso, particularly to the rear panel. Some insect activity can be seen along the edge of the front fold over crease. This is the first UK edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [11], 12 - 254, [2] pages. Dust Jacket price-clipped.
