One of only 2,000 copies under Quince Tree Press - J L Carr's own publishing house, set up to produce 'pocket book' type items. This is a handsome copy of this paperback. Clean, bright, glazed covers with very good edges and tips. Some very fine 'creases' to front, very superficial and only seen when held up to light but overall, covers are very good. Strong, unbroken spine. Contents: there is a name to the ffep but otherwise clean and unmarked. To the back cover, is the original 'Quince Tress Press' price label which gives the price and telephone number. The novel has its roots in J L Carr's own stay in the USA, when he took a year out to stay in South Dakot as an exchange teacher. 'The Battle of Pollocks Crossing' by J L Carr. Book is not exlib and will be packed and sent with care.
