Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. 1st Edition. Head and tail of spine worn, corners of boards bumped. Page edges worn, stained, discoloured. This is an ex-library book. The dust-jacket is covered in plastic and taped to the front pastedown endpapers. The tape has yellowed. Sticker residue is on front free endpaper. Also on front free endpaper: paper residue from (presumably) a previous library slip that has not been removed properly, reflections from tape on pastedown endpaper, library stamp, library number (in form of stamp), and names in blue, black and red ink running down the left-hand side and top middle of the page, presumably of previous borrowers. This page is torn towards edge, and has small segment missing. Most pages throughout are stained, marked, foxed or creased in some way. Title page contains library stamps and old price inked in blue pen, as well as black pen mark. Library stamp is on few pages throughout. Rear endpapers contain yellowed sticky tape and tape residue. Rear paste-down endpaper has some marks in blue pen. Despite this pages are in tact and very readable, binding is sturdy. Dustwrapper is dirty, marked and stained. It is covered in plastic which may be what is truly dirty. Plastic is tearing in places. Back cover is especially dirty. Dustwrapper is intact save for very top of back flap. It is in good condition despite appearing dirty. * We always describe the faults of our books meticulously - they usually present better than they sound.
