Phillip Edward Brougham Glasier (1915-2000) was responsible for stimulating a new interest in the practice of falconry and the conservation and breeding of the birds. He was responsible for the founding of what are now the International Centre for Birds of Prey at Newent, Glos., the Hawk and Owl Trust and the Raptor Breeders' Association.
