Distribution maps are provided for each species as well as drawings and diagrams illustrationg family groups, behavioural traits and biological data. The book contains 79 black & white photographs and 51 colour plates. Book in good condition. Minor bumping to upper corners. Some very slight toning to endpapers and light spotting to upper edge of text block. Slight musty odour. Book plate of the distinguished naturalist Bryan L Sage to front paste down. Dust jacket good.
