Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. Randolph Caldecott (illustratore). Lob Lie-by-the-Fire, or, The Luck of Lingborough was written by Juliana Horatia Ewing and illustrated by Randolph Caldecott. The book was published by Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge around 1900 and appears to be a First Edition but is nowhere stated as such. It's NOT an ex-library copy and but is only in good condition, has no dust jacket, and is a great example of an older illustrated children's book, NOT necessarily one for them to read, but rather one to read to them. (There IS an inscription on the front loose end page that dates the book to Christmas of 1940.) The book is 6 1/8" by 8 1/8" and has 72 pages with black-and-white illustrations throughout.
