Dealing with color is a complex subject: influenced by standards, fashions, and trends, we derive our ideas and concepts from color theories, intuition, and personal preferences. The color swatches and systems for describing color common today are based on purely quantitative principles and include well over 1,500 colors. So how do we choose a particular color?
More than ten years ago, the color chemist Katrin Trautwein established a pigment factory, starting out from Le Corbusier’s color palette. She now has more than 900 recipes for paint from which she has proposed – based on her work with architects, designers, and historical preservationists – a selection of 128 colors that produce pleasant results on their own and also combine well. Each color is presented with a sample; their potential uses and significance are also discussed.
Katrin Trautwein has lectured throughout the world on how to approach colors, given seminars, given expert opinions, advised architects, taught painters, and worked as a restorer.

Ausgehend von der Publikation „Polychromie Architecturale" (A. Rüegg) unternahm die aus den USA stammende Chemikerin die Erforschung der Rezepte aller 63 Farbtöne, die Le Corbusier zwischen 1931 und 1959 für die Firma Salubra entwickelt hat.
1998 gründete sie die Farbenmanufaktur kt.color in Uster bei Zürich. 2000 erhielt sie die exklusive Lizenz der Fondation Le Corbusier, die 63 Farben als Künstlerfarben und als Wandfarben (für innen und außen) herzustellen und weltweit vertreiben zu dürfen.
Seitdem baute sie ihre Manufaktur weiter aus, stellte weitere Farbrezepturen zusammen (insgesamt über 900), entwickelte eine umfassende Weißpalette, beschäftigte sich mit historisch bedeutsamen Farben, die von der Industrie vernachlässigt worden sind (z.B. das Ultramarinblau von Yves Klein oder das Pompeijanischrot von Semper u.a.) und die im heutigen Einsatz sinnvoll sind, und zwar sowohl unter ästhetischen als auch wirtschaftlichen und ökologischen Aspekten.
Neben der Herstellung von Farben wird Katrin Trautwein von Architekten und Bauherren zu Beratung und second opinion herangezogen, außerdem bietet sie regelmäßig Fachseminare für Architekten, Innenarchitekten, Flächenmaler usw. zu den Themen Handwerk; Farbgestaltung; Pigmentfarben; Materialgrundlagen; Farbkonzepte mit Le Corbusiers Palette; Licht- und Schattenfarben; Neue Objekte, neue Farbkonzepte usw. an.
Bei restauratorischen Projekten wird sie zur Farbbestimmung und Materialbeschaffung hinzugezogen (LC: Maison Blanche, Lux Guyer: Saffa-Haus u.a.); sie hält europaweit und in den USA Vorträge.

Effetti del recesso
In caso di recesso dal presente contratto, ti rimborseremo tutti i pagamenti ricevuti, compresi i costi di spedizione (ad eccezione dei costi supplementari derivanti dalla tua eventuale scelta di un tipo di spedizione diverso dal tipo meno costoso di consegna standard da noi offerto).

Il termine è rispettato se rispedisci i beni prima della scadenza del periodo di 14 giorni. I costi diretti della restituzione dei beni saranno a tuo carico. Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni stessi.
Eccezioni al diritto di recesso
Il diritto di recesso non si applica a:
- La fornitura di giornali, periodici o riviste ad eccezione dei contratti di abbonamento; e
