What happens when you get 7 craZy ladies and a man together and why are these ladies crazy? CraZy love that's what. Ladies who love to write and critique, love to see each other weekly, love to enjoy the warm friendships and laughter that each meeting brings. Join the ladies in their stories and poetry. True life events relate stories of a depression-era child growing up to have unique travel experiences through Russia and the Middle East in earlier, tense times. Stories of an insightful Sicilian girl experiencing genuinely inexplicable events as she grows up in the Windy City, as well as the actual encounters of a compassionate doctor bringing her healing powers to the characters of the Ozarks hills. The writings and meditations of a retired psychologist who continues to search for peace and growth rest comfortably with another author's tale of an angel righting the fates of his earthly wards in a fantastical story with the flavors of Grimm, and of an onlooker pondering the cruel realities life offers some of us. A writer who infuses stories of universal themes with the distinct atmosphere and humor Southerners are known for, combine with stories from a seasoned writer who provides uplifting endings that reaffirm all that can be good in the world.

And what about the man in the title? His poetry, some of the best, offers words and imagery that causes the reader to laugh and to cry, to pause and to question. They provide a way to appreciate and know someone who can't be known any longer. Such a loss, it became the impetus to show him off to the reading world. A gift of love from us to you.
