Gerald R. Ash is the Manager of Routing Evolution Planning in the Network Technology Development division of AT&T Labs, where dynamic routing was pioneered. He has worked in this area since 1976 and is widely regarded as a world expert on the subject of routing. His research has been quoted extensively in textbooks and articles on telecommunications networks. Mr. Ash lives and works in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
