Vivek Kale is IT Head at the Indian Textiles and Apparel major, Raymond Ltd. He has over two decades of professional experience, including ten years of managing ERP, CRM and extended-ERP projects in SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebel, and Oracle Applications. He has worked with companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tata Unisys, Mahindra Consulting US (now Bristlecone), Covansys US and i-flex (now Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.). His experience includes designing, developing, and consulting on large application software, eBusiness, knowledge management, and data warehousing solutions. He has handled and consulted on various aspects of enterprise-wide information modeling, enterprise architectures, business process re-design, and, eBusiness architectures. Vivek holds M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in theoretical Physics. He has also authored Implementing SAP R/3: The Guide for Business and Technology Managers, Sams (2000).
