The book is about evenly divided into the two title topics, theory and practice, so that students are not only enlightened on ethical theory, but are encouraged to apply the learned theory to specific ethical problems (e.g. taking human life; lying, cheating, stealing, and breaking promises; business and environmental ethics, and bioethics, etc.). This book is very student- and instructor-friendly in that:
