Using the most up-to-date information, Forensic Fire Scene Reconstruction, Second Edition expands the ability of investigators to apply fire engineering, forensic analysis, and the interpretation of human behavior to the accurate investigation of fires. Extensive new research on fire behavior, ignition mechanisms, fire patterns, and fire modeling is incorporated to explore and explain the process of applying the full spectrum of forensic techniques to the reconstruction of fire events. With over 70 years of combined experience, two of the United States' most experienced fire scientists have authored a text that can be used by fire and law enforcement investigators, attorneys, forensic scientists, and fire protection specialists. A greatly expanded peer review adds a newer, fresh perspective to this edition.
