This sixth edition of Community Policing and Problem Solving: Strategies and Practices continues to present community-oriented policing and problem solving (COPPS) from a highly applied perspective, drawing on the authors’ combined 75 years of practitioner/academic experience.                   This sixth edition continues to emphasize the “best practices” with COPPS for addressing crime and disorder. Included are chapters on the evolution of policing, community engagement, crime prevention, changing agency culture, planning and     mplementation, policing a diversity society, and futures, chapters specifically address COPPS in domestic and foreign venues.
