Shelly Brisbin has written about technology for more than ten years. Currently a freelance writer based in Austin, Texas, Brisbin writes a weekly Internet column for the CitySearch/AustinWeb site and contributes features and reviews to national computer magazines.Before taking up the freelance life, Brisbin served as Networking Editor for MacUser magazine, leading the publication's connectivity and Internet coverage.
