Bound in publisher's burnt orange cloth, gilt lettering imprinted to spine. Plain white endpapers. 157 numbered pages, plus three blank following. Six chapters, each a 1946 lecture at Cambridge University, UK. Condition notes: missing DJ/wrapper. Heavy sunning /discoloration to bottom inch of boards. Corners bumped, spine ends rolled. Binding solid and square. Pages tanned but clean, a few scattered pencil notes, otherwise no highlighting or inscriptions.
