He is author of numerous articles and books, including Ethnic Conflict and Development: The Case of Guyana (1995); Ethnic Conflict and Development: The Case of Fiji; Identity, Ethnicity and Culture in the Caribbean; and Secessionist Movements in Comparative Perspective.
