Fidèle aux idées exprimées dans la préface de l'ouvrage précédent, on a joint aux quarante leçons dont se compose ce volume des exercices de traduction, qui, dans la pensée de leur auteur, devront être faits oralement dans la classe puis écrits durant les heures d'étude, corrigés par le maître et enfin mis au net dans un cahier ad hoc.
