Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book provides an in-depth examination of the statistical plan used by The National Workmens Compensation Service Bureau (the Bureau) to gather and analyze workers' compensation data. The original plan, as the author explains, needed enhancements to keep pace with the growing sophistication of related fields such as underwriting, actuarial science, and safety engineering. Besides providing foundational information about the Bureau and its statistical plan, the author shares insights into the reasons for revisions made to the plan. In addition, the author discusses the wide range of information collected by the Bureau, including payroll exposure and premiums, accident analyses, and more. This statistical information is then analyzed and published by the Bureau to provide valuable insights to stakeholders such as underwriters, actuaries, safety engineers, among others. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
