In the first place, a great number of additional words have been inserted from Tonn's Quarto Edition of Johnson's Dictio 1 any, as well as from other sources. - Secondly, there have been collected with great care, nearly a thousand Scotticisms, Vulgar Anglicisms, and Grammatical Improprieties, (including those publidied by Dr. Beattie,) arranged in strict alphabetical order.
