Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the social and political changes in France before the French Revolution of 1789, which were influenced by the great transformations taking place in the country during the 18th century. The author examines the impact of the changing social structure, the rise of the middle class, and the decline of the aristocracy on the political landscape of France. Through analysis of texts and historical events, the author argues that the seeds of the French Revolution were sown in the decades leading up to 1789 as the country transitioned away from aristocratic and feudal systems towards more democratic and egalitarian structures.
