It embodies the result of the investigations made in connection with the work of the New York State Tenement House Commission appointed by President Roosevelt when he was gov cruor of the State of New York in 1900. It also includes the Tenement House Law as amended and an introduction bringing down the history of Tenement Reform in New York to 1903.
