To Know what we are to understand by the serpent and the seed of the woman here, see John V111.44.I John iii. 8. Rev. Xii. 9 Gal. Iii. 16. Tel bruise one' s heel is merely to do him an in~ jury, as Satan is now injuring the Savior.
