Female. Bed, reddish cinereous beneath. Palpi slightly ascending, hardly rising higher than the vertex, a little longer than the breadth of the head; second joint fringed; third slightly lan oecists, about half the length of the second. Abdomen with minute tufts along each side, extending a little beyond the hind wings. Legs smooth. Fore wings snbl'alcate, here and there with a slight opaline lustre; too blackish zigzag lines, one near the base, the other beyond the middle; exterior half greenish, containing an ochraceous patch, which includes a black slmt; some zigzag whitish lines, whith are indistinct, except two beyond the second blackish line; these are interrupted by the patch cosltt slight] y convex near the base; exterior border forming a prominent rounded angle between the second and third inferior veins. Hind wings brown; fringe cinereons, rosy at the base. Length of the body 6 lines; of the wings 16 lines.
