His majesty th'mking it highly expedient and necefi'ary, for the benefit of his fervice at large, that one uniform fyfiem of field-exercife and. Movement, founded on juft and true principles, fhould be eftablilhed, and in variably praflifed, throughout his whole army, is therefore pleafed to direct, that the rules and regulations approved of by his majesty for this important purpofe, and now detailed and publifhed herewith, {hall be firiétly followed and adhered to, without any deviation whatfoever there from - And fuch orders before given, as may be found to interfere with, or coun teract, their effec't and operation, are to be confidered as hereby cancelled and annulled.
