Excerpt from Paraffin in Surgery: A Critical and Clinical Study
Some of the photographic negatives of patients after paraffin injections, set aside for development at our leis ure, were unfortunately spoiled by accidental exposure to X-ravs. Where we were unable to secure duplicate negatives, we were therefore obliged to doctor pic tures of the patients taken before injection, in order to show the result. In this doctoring, however, we were careful to follow exactly the lines of the fogged plates.
