Cabolet; fils d'un procureur à la chambre des 'co'mptes; mort vers_ le mois de j'uillet 1759, a composé; depuis 1717 jusqu'à l'époque de sa mort, pour le théâtre de la Foire; soit seul, soit en Société avec Panar'd, un' grand nombre de pièées dont 611 1rou1e la liste dans les Mémoires pour Servir à l'histoire des spectacles de la Foire, t. 2, p. 296, et dans l'hisfoire du théâtre de l'opéra-comique, t.2 p. 258. La plupart de ces pièces n'ont point réusm et n'ont point été imprimées. Carolet a donné au tl1ëâtre-italieri, en 1719; (les Aveñtureè de la rue Quincampoz'e, comédie en 1 acte; et une parodie de M'éde et Jason, en 1 acte et en vaudevilles, en 1756: Car'olet a été éditeur de la 2° partie du 9° tome ou 10° volume du Théâtre de la Foire; Paris, Gañdoin, 1757, in42. Ce volume contient douze pièces toutes de Caroleç; la douzième intitulée. L'a mo'ur désoeuüre', ou les Vacances de Cyflzère, n'a pas été repl'éseñtée, et il n'en est pas question dans l'his m'1e du meam de l'opéra - Comique. A. B - T.
