The goal of this highly usable and innovative casebook is to provide a basic introduction to commercial law, both for those students who plan to take only one course in the field as well as for students who intend to become commercial specialists. The new edition is completely revised and updated. Approximately one-third of the cases are new, and all citations refer to the latest draft of the UCC. The book now focuses on the law of the sale of goods under the UCC. Other commercial law topics are explored as they are raised by the cases, including fundamental notions regarding secured transactions, bankruptcy, consumer protection, negotiable instruments, and letters of credit.
