Gerber’s text offers a principles-level introduction to international economics that is accessible to a diverse group of readers. International Economics, Fourth Edition, uses a rich array of case studies to illuminate economic institutions and policies as well as recent developments in the global economy. The book’s flexible approach—with self-contained chapters and comprehensive coverage—allows instructors to adapt the book easily to a wide range of syllabi. Without relying on prerequisite knowledge of higher-level math, the text helps readers understand the issues and policies they see in the news.
