The French alphabet is identically the same as the English; but two letters (75 and w) do not properly belong to the French Alphabet, as they are only found in a few words borrowed from foreign languages.

N B. The six letters a, e, i, o, u, y, are called vowels, as in English; the remaining letters, c w, x, z, are consonants.
