Seltsamerweise fällt es noch immer ungemein schwer, eine gewählte Ausstellung dieser Art selbst im kleinsten Rahmen zustande zu bringen. Denn natürlich sollte nicht der Stil unserer Groß und Ur urgroßeltern, sondern der unsrige zur Geltung kommen.

Da fehlt es noch oft am notwendigsten. Wer etwa, wie der Berichterstatter auf der Pariser Weltausstellung 1900, z. B. Hübsches Eßbesteck in modernen Formen suchte, der fand es nicht.
