The book continues to offer students of Italian at Advanced Level and Higher Grade not only a reliable grammar reference, but also a lively and informative way of practising that grammar. The book is eminently appropriate for post GCSE candidates in schools and colleges, undergraduates and adult learners.
Although the main aim of the book is to develop grammatical competence, activities cover a wide range of topics and allow learners to practise the skills of Writing and Speaking with exercises at varying degrees of difficulty.

Product Description
This communicative Italian grammar text seeks to provide the support needed by those studying for A Level and Higher Grade examinations, and by pupils aiming at the higher levels of the National Curriculum at Key Stage four and Standard Grade. Each chapter deals with a specific grammatical point and is divided into three sections. "Meccanismo" provides clear explanations in English with examples in Italian, "Mettiamo a punto" reinforces exercises to practice what has been explained with a self-check key, and "Mettiamoci in moto" consists of open-ended communicative activities to encourage and develop the creative use of language using the grammar points in question. There is also a section on Italian spelling and a verb reference table.
