But amidst all of the upheaval of the enlightened world, there is an unknown force inciting all of human civilisation into violent conflict. And it will require the combined efforts of revolutionaries, magicians, and abolitionists to unmask this hidden enemy before the whole world falls to chaos.

First edition thus, hardcover, signed by Parry and marked as no. 635/1000 on the title page, with a promotional card laid in. The binding is pulled at the title page and sits at a lean, but remains firm throughout, and there is also a small gap starting between the text block and case at the head of the spine, as well as bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, a small ding to the head of the front cover, and slight smudging to the edges of the text block. Overall, this is a solid, Very Good copy in a Very Good+ dust jacket, which has mild rubbing to the covers, and slight shelf wear to the edges and corners. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
