JOAN KOENIG is the American-born founder of L&#8217;Ecole Koenig American Conservatory &#38; Kindergarten in Paris. Established in 1986 with ten students, it now has five hundred. A graduate of the Juilliard School and a former soloist and chamber musician, she lives in Paris.<br><br> &#160;
